We promote choice and inclusion

Our work is holistically/therapeutically based and tailored to meet the individual needs of each young person. Our highly personalised service takes into account each individual’s views, needs and wishes, enabling them to manage their time with us, integrate into the community and develop independent living skills.

We promote choice and inclusion, believing in equal opportunities for everyone. By listening to the people we support, we shape a service that is as unique as they are.

At Identity Care Housing and as part our our commitment focusing on cultural and identity topics, we support young people through direct work and keywork sessions. This is achieved through group and individual discussions, sharing experiences, helping the young people to respect others, by providing therapeutic support as required. Staff ensure that the young people are made aware that they are cared for and valued through boundaries set within their safety.  The young people reside with us in what we like to call ‘their home’ until they are ready to live independently and care for themselves appropriately.

We believe that each young person we support should have opportunities to learn new things and enjoy the activities they wish to do. Becoming part of the local community enables individuals to live an active and inclusive life.
