How We Work
-
We promote choice and inclusion
Our work is holistically/therapeutically based and tailored to meet the individual needs of each young person. Our highly personalised service takes into account each individual’s views, needs and wishes, enabling them to manage their time with us, integrate into the community and develop independent living skills.
We promote choice and inclusion, believing in equal opportunities for everyone. By listening to the people we support, we shape a service that is as unique as they are.
Some may have offending behaviour and other behavioural and emotional difficulties as a direct result of negative experiences, trauma and toxic stress. We use a range of therapeutic models and services as part of our support package.
Identity Care Housing offers a sensitive environment that enables the young people to re-address issues pertinent to their specific needs whether this is “Low”, “Medium” or “High”. This may then help them live appropriately in the community.
We are an all-inclusive, culturally sensitive provision which welcomes females and males from diverse religious, cultural, ethnic backgrounds, regardless of their values and beliefs. This may also include young people from; unoccupied minors and those of refugee status.
The purpose of Identity Care Housing is to focus on the needs of each individual. We work in partnership with other organisations ensuring that the well-being of the young person central to the care and support we deliver.
